wood street

I bought this old warehouse with my mum back in 2002. We wanted to turn it into two seperate residence with her taking one side of the saw tooth and me the other. I lived there for a while but was driven out by the giant rats and lack of insulation so we started work on converting it into somewhere comfortable to live. The roof came off, hydronic floor heating went in under the new slab, a division wall went up to replace the sliding metal gates between the two halls and things started to take shape. Years later, work still goes on adding bits and pieces where needed but now the old warehouse has become a lovely multigenerational family dwelling.
